Big boys can be a little sweeter with their delicious treats from Sweetisan.
Hong Kong, with its reputable labels of being the world’s “Gourmet Paradise” and “World’s Food Fair” is indeed a home for great complex food combinations and unlimited variety of international gourmets. From roadside stalls to upscale restaurants, their food dining experience is a total fit for every class especially when it comes to their desserts.
Just to tell you honestly, I have not tasted that much of Hong Kong’s desserts when I went there last year for a Christmas vacation. So when an opportunity knocked on its way for me to taste them on Sweetisan, a new business establishment inside SM Lanang Premier, I immediately wore my socks on and rushed in without any hesitation.

Sweetisan’s store opening last December 23.

Ms. Sarah giving her heartfelt message to her relatives, visitors, customers and staff.
Sweetisan which has derived its name from combining the words “sweet” and “artisan” , makes the most traditional Hong Kong desserts and sweet soups with a fusion of local preference- a first in Davao. “Our offerings here are some of the usual treats of our Hong Kong national friends and enjoying these is their way of comfort after a hectic schedule,” said Ms. Sarah.
This simple HK lifestyle then gave birth to this little sweet business. With the help of a good friend who is also working as a chef, she came to materialize what she has observed and decided to bring it here in the city of Davao . “She is really good! I just let her taste the sweet treats and after that, she already got each of the product’s right blend of mixtures. She actually made it even better in her own way,” she added.
One of Sweetisan’ s main offerings is this milk based cheesetart. Look who’s enjoying their famous cheesetart that day! It’s no other than Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2018, Jehza Huelar! You can buy these creamy and cheesy cheesetarts at 80 pesos each and for 400 pesos per box. Aside from this, they are also proud to offer these best sellers:
Choco Lava Cake – Php 155
Chrysanthemum Tea– Php 95
Violet Rice and Durian in Vanilla Ice Cream– Php 165
Matcha Cheesetart– Php 95 each/ Php 475 per box
I also managed to take a shot on some of the pages of their menu. Feel free to choose your delectable yet affordable treats, guys!
Of course, who would ever forget their favorite drink in Hong Kong- Tea. Their snack time wouldn’t be that satisfying without this for sure!

It’s tea time!

A good talk with a good tea is no way comparable!
I am so glad that owner, Ms. Sarah Mamba brought a piece of Hong Kong within my reach. Now, I don’t need to spend that much nor travel that far just to taste Hong Kong!
