A Tour to Malagos Garden Resort

Still haven’t decided where to spend your upcoming holidays this weekend?

Well, I have the answer for you! Scroll through this blog post and join us as we do a quick timeline of our tour around this famous resort in Calinan, the Malagos Garden Resort.

BIRD SHOW (10:30am)

The interactive bird show starts at 10:30 am and runs for 45 mins every weekends. What I love about here is that it features a number of rehabilitated and trained birds; all in one showcasing an exemplary plot that talks about caring for the environment like waste segregation, disaster awareness, and sports which makes it knowledgeable and timely to the audience as well.

Too much happiness in a click.

LUNCH BUFFET (12NN)

After the 45-minute show, we went straight to their buffet area for our hearty  and sumptuous meals. The area is well-structured, fully-ventilated, with good music and of course, they offer a wide variety of food choices from the different parts of the world. Lunch buffet is available to public from 11am -2pm.

Hello, may I take your order?

Just to add, you surely wouldn’t want to miss their best dessert in the resort. Say yes for ice cream! They sell this premium product solely in this resort but you may also buy this at the resort’s entrance if you wish to.

CHOCOLATE GARDEN (1PM)

Next stop is the Malagos Chocolate Park which is just situated across their buffet lunch area. The park is full of gigantic sweet treats to welcome you before entering the Chocolate Museum. The whole stroll around the park may take you 8-15 minutes including picture-taking.

Acting formal but deep inside, I actually wanted to eat the sweet treats already!

To make your whole tour a little bit sweeter, make sure to drop by on the the country’s first Chocolate Museum. I made a seperate blog post for this activity so check it out here: https://shannena.com/2019/02/28/how-my-weekend-went-with-malagos-chocolates/

The chocolate molders looked so yummy already even before having placed with some melted chocolate.

BIRD FEEDING DOME (3PM)

Definitely one of the best! Actually, before heading here, we were able to witness their Animal Encounter Mini Show which starts at 2pm. The show includes the appearances of birds, rabbits, ducks, horses and goats. So to keep the energy on top, we had this bird and fish feeding activity right away.

LRM_EXPORT_32757933204272_20190310_164548051

Little fellas, come out! Come out! Wherever you are!

Mariposa, is that you?

PSFix_20190310_171125

This is suppose to be a red telephone booth just like in London. Ahm. I guess so? Well anyway, I just found it around the corner of the Dome.

MUSEO DE MARIPOSA (4PM)

To give us more details about the butterflies that we have encountered closely at the dome, we headed to Museo de Mariposa which is just around 3-4 minutes away. More trivias, facts and butterflies were made available in this place so better visit this as well.
